Sylvia Bulfoni was born in Udine. At a young age, she moved to Canada and then to the United States, where she worked and attended the University of Detroit until 1987, when she returned to Italy and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara with a thesis on
"Zen and Chinese Painting." She has lived in Asciano for some time and works as a restorer and decorator. She has exhibited her works in various group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. For her, art is a reason for living, an expression of the depths of the soul, a connection with the divine.
